House of Redemption
Description
House of Redemption is a faith-based residential facility that aims to connect current and formerly incarcerated women with the community through a variety of resources. The House of Redemption staff support women through visits, writing encouraging letters to participants, and providing transportation to correctional facilities to the children of incarcerated parents. Financial assistance is also provided on a case-by-case basis to help women more successfully reintegrate into their communities. Upon release from prison or jail, participants are offered food, shelter, and a place for fellowship and worship. These services aid in preventing recidivism, homelessness, unemployment, and poverty among formerly incarcerated women. Through a Christ-Centered relationship, House of Redemption fulfills the spiritual needs of incarcerated women so that their lives can be restored through the gospel. Additionally, House of Redemption sends out weekly uplifting and encouraging mail and care packages to women in need. Contact Redemption House directly to learn more about their programs and services.
