Texas Network of Youth Services (TNOYS)

The Texas Network of Youth Services (TNOYS) is a community based organization working to strengthen services and support for Texas youth and families as they overcome challenges and achieve healthy development. At-risk youth involved in the criminal justice system, or experiencing homelessness are the primary candidates for assistance from TNOYS. TNOYS’ Young Adult Leadership Council (YALC) is a paid leadership development program for youth and young adults (ages 16 to 25) who have lived in foster care and experienced the juvenile justice system and homelessness. Under the PEAKS (Physical and Environmental Activities for Knowledge and Skills) Adventure Program, a group of youth care workers and young people from shelters, halfway houses, and juvenile justice agencies partner with TNOYS to create a residential camp experience. Additionally, TNOYS provides its members and other organizations with tools and resources for youth engagement. Their Youth Engagement Toolkit is a compilation of materials and resources for organizations looking to launch or enhance their youth engagement efforts. Contact Texas Network of Youth Services directly for more information on their youth-related programs and services.
