Goodwill Western Missouri and Eastern Kansas
Description
Goodwill is a national organization committed to breaking the cycle of poverty and reducing incarceration across the country. The Goodwill Western Missouri and Eastern Kansas chapter operates a reentry program specifically designed to assist formerly incarcerated individuals as they return to the community. The program focuses on providing tangible employment services to individuals with criminal convictions in the hopes that these individuals can begin on a pathway towards self-sufficiency. Applicants begin with the Goodwill Career Navigator, which provides information about current openings. Individuals can receive assistance with career planning, training completion, job searches, resume building, interview preparation and government funding for certifications. All of these services are offered out of the Goodwill Mission Support Center in Kansas City, which is funded by the Missouri Department of Corrections. For more information about specific services, or to inquire about job placement, individuals should contact the organization directly using the information on this page.
