Friendship House, Inc.

Description

Friendship House, Inc. is a community based organization offering a number of support services, including a halfway house for adult men. The expressed mission of the halfway house is to offer a therapeutic living environment and targeted support to individuals who are in recovery for substance abuse. They hope to act as a bridge between intensive treatment centers and independent living, giving individuals the best chance at permanent recovery and success in the community. Staff operate with the knowledge that most individuals in recovery require a minimum of 90-120 days of intensive support after exiting a treatment center in order to avoid relapse. All residents at Friendship House, Inc.'s halfway house commit to a 6-12 month stay, exceeding the minimum necessary support period and ensuring that residents have ongoing support while they alter their behaviors and mindsets. For more information about specific services or to begin the intake process, contact the organization directly.
