The Brown County Public Defender's Office is located in Quincy, IL. With a team of Public Defenders, attorneys and other legal staff, the Office of the Brown County Public Defender is charged with the responsibility of representing the county of Brown in criminal defense cases resulting from lawsuits filed against the indigent client in the Brown County. The roles and responsibilities of Brown County Public Defender's Office are to provide legal representation, consultation, and advice to clients, represent clients through criminal investigative proceedings, create a defense plan, conduct investigative legal research, and interview the necessary clients and witnesses, work closely with clients, discuss relevant information and strategies.
