Legal Aid of Georgia

Legal Aid of Georgia

Description

Legal Aid of Georgia is a coalition of partners committed to ensuring that all individuals have access to quality legal advice regardless of income. The organization website provides a wealth of information for various legal issues for both civil and criminal court cases, including information and assistance for divorce, housing judgments, debt management, recent arrests and immigration issues. Currently, volunteers provide direct legal advice and consultation for individuals in Fulton, Clayton, Cobb, Gwinnett and DeKalb counties. However, individuals outside these areas may be eligible for legal consultation over the phone or through virtual visits. All legal advice and consultation is provided at no cost to individuals. To receive assistance, individuals are encouraged to submit the intake application provided on the organization website. For those who are unable to complete the application or have questions related to available services, Legal Aid of Georgia has both local and toll free phone numbers listed on their website.
