Humble Design

Humble Design is a community based organization committed to addressing housing insecurity in the communities they serve. Their mission is to assist veterans and families recovering from housing insecurity by helping to furnish their new homes at no cost. For more than a decade, Humble Design has furnished over two thousand homes for individuals and families working hard to establish a home for themselves and their children. Currently, the organization operates in several major cities, including Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, San Diego and Seattle. Veterans and families in these areas can reach our to Humble Design to help furnish their homes with essential. Volunteers and staff are able to do this through strategic partnerships with U-haul, Progressive, Clorox and others. They also utilize funding from several foundations to ensure that they are able to furnish homes without placing a financial burden on individuals and families in need.
